First Game/Bug Fixes

Because why not get the first set of bug fixes right in the first post, right?

I was originally planning to take a NAP before doing this post, but seeing as pretty much all of my common events got scrambled somewhere between  testing and uploading, I figured I might as well get it all taken care of now.  So, here's my first ever finished and released game, for my first crack at Ludum Dare.  It was fun at points, it was pure, screaming rage and fury at points, and it was panic at... almost every step of the way.  Seeing as how I both, have never released anything quite like this to the world before (see: I created this account solely to upload this), and ran into a fair number of problems along the way, both inside and outside the game.

Outwards, I had everything from a severe depression spike, to a day of errands that needed running, to a power outage ONE hour before the Ludum Dare deadline and LOST a good hour's worth of work because of it.  So that put me on even more of a time crunch than I already was, meaning I never got a chance to give it a final check-through to make sure everything actually worked.

Which, resulted in the broken mess that was the first version.

But, moving on.  Inwards, there were a lot of events and mechanics I was trying to figure out that I either just couldn't and realized I couldn't waste the time trying, or gave up on entirely.  Namely, originally I intended the gathering nodes to have a respawn rate.  Couldn't figure it out for the life of me, though.   Which is why every gather-able item ended up in a shop.

There were a lot of custom sprites, edits, mechanics, and MUSIC I didn't end up having time to put in that will likely be a major update in the future, post-ludum dare.  Originally I intended for most of the NPCs to have custom sprites and faces but... I just didn't have the time.  I did, at the very least, manage to finish Yoinkers and get him properly set in.

So, in conclusion:

- Coin Life is now live and free to play!  It was made for Ludum Dare 44, 'Your Life is Currency', and was made entirely by one person.  Me.  The few custom sprites were drawn by me and everything else came from RPGMaker Ace VX.

- I attempted to make it so the game was playable in browser.  It didn't work.  Sorry.  Maybe in a future update I'll figure that out.

- BUG FIXES: A second version of the game was uploaded just now with fixes for the broken common events.

Enjoy and Nice to Meet You!
(Hopefully I do this thing right)
